Worried there aren't enough flu shots to go around this year? Fear not! There is a fabulous alternative that is making people think twice about this year's flu shot! This week, The Weekly Beet reports on our favorite homeopathic remedy to ward off the flu.
This season the "hot" topic of health conversation has been about the contamination of 48 million doses of the flu shot by an English company called Chiron. It seems there was some strange bacteria called serratia that crept into the doses. With that said, we are happy to report that there IS another option out there. While in France, we took something called Influenzium 9CH, made by a company called Dolisos. In previous years, we have taken the homeopathic remedy by Boiron, the king of homeopathic medicines. (The two companies have recently merged!!) Influenzium 9CH can be found all over France and is taken for preventative measures contre la grippe (against the flu). France has been the forerunner of homeopathic medicine for years, and it seems as if America is starting to catch on.  When we returned from France, there were rumours that Influenzium existed in the States. We set out to find the homeopathic remedy, and of all places, under a different name, it turned up in the pharmacy section of K-Mart!! Yes, homeopathic flu medicine lives at K-Mart. In America, it is called Dolivaxil Flu Season Defense made by Dolisos. BRAVO!!! K-Mart we love you!!!
Dolivaxil helps prepare the body for exposure to the flu in an all-natural way. Dolisos creates its Flu Season Defense to help prevent the development of fever, chills, body aches and pains, minor sore throat, and congestion. Dolisos tells us that the flu shot is 68.2% effective on all people, compared to a 90% effective rate with Dolivaxil. Now, that is what we call UNBEETABLE!!!!
Directions are as follows: dissolve one tube under the tongue per week for 4 weeks then wait for three weeks and dissolve one final tube under the tongue or as directed by a health professional.
