This week, The Weekly Beet reports straight from a name with a change. Mary Kent changes the name of the The Weekly Beet to The Heart Beet, revealing why we all need to return to love!
I promise I haven't disappeared from the face of the planet! :) The Weekly Beet has been due for a mini makeover and I'm behind the scenes finalizing a few details at the moment. Recently, I decided to change the name of my newsletter because I realized that my purpose here on Earth is truly to heal the heart. Even though I do looooove Beets and think they are the ultimate healthy veggie, it seemed more obvious to celebrate the essence of what I love with a name like The Heart Beet, while simultaneously maintaining the spirit of the old.
The Heart Beet will continue to cover aspects of the world of mind, body, and spirit, but the message will go beyond, as it is my hope that these words and topics will uplift, inspire, and remind us all just how important it is to go within, heal the heart, and find exactly what it is that has the inner ability to make us glow with love. Truly, that is where the key to our ultimate happiness lies. I have found the more I allow myself to listen to my heart, the more gifts and surprises I uncover within. It's not really about listening to our minds anymore, it's about getting quiet and tuning into the feelings of what makes us happy and brings us the most love. It's about silently hearing and tuning into The Heart Beet, a coded language that miraculously keeps us going and fills us with so much joy and peace that if we listen closely, we just might hear the inner calling of our soul.
So, while I'm away (which won't be much longer), my challenge for you is to do something every day that makes you glow with love. Whatever it is that fills your heart with so much light that you simply can't stop beaming with the golden stuff, then do it. Most likely the feeling will come from doing something for another selflessly, but there are definitely times that we beam from within while doing for ourselves and that's just as good a reason as any to glow with love. I know this one well! So, get out there today and fill yourself up with those high vibrations of love and light. Listen to some music. Dance a jig. Laugh at yourself. Watch a funny movie. Read something funny. Love on what you don't like about yourself. Love on your honey. Love on your pet. Do whatever it takes to fill your little body with that divine, glowing essence we were all meant to feel ALL of the time. You owe it to yourself to change how you feel within. We all do!
